I was born and raised in Singapore; currently studying at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
After 6 years behind the camera, I've come to believe that a good photograph is one with the ability to evoke the emotions of the viewer. With this in mind, I strive to incorporate a certain 'feel' in my images, often stripping colour away to emphasize the important elements.
I most enjoy street photography and shooting candid portraits which portray the emotions of everyday people. I also enjoy portraiture, though I have yet to do too much of that. Every once in awhile I do fall back to shooting nature and macros as well.
I don't believe in digital manipulation and its safe to say that I've never used photoshop(never
) and like to refer to my works as '100% Natural'. Also, most of my personal works are shot with old manual focus primes lenses as I prefer the control and output they give.
